# Featured
The Featured section displays selected posts in a dedicated area on the homepage, positioned directly below the hero to highlight important or recently featured content. The section automatically displays up to **six featured posts** in a carousel.
For the best carousel experience, make sure you have at least **four posts** marked as featured. If fewer than four featured posts are available, the posts will be displayed in a regular card grid instead.
We recommend keeping the Featured section disabled until you have published your first featured post to maintain a clean and balanced homepage layout.
### Step-by-step:

Go to the "**Design & branding**" settings in Ghost Admin and click "**Customize**".

Under the **Homepage** section, locate "**Homepage style**".

Select the elements you want to display, such as Featured / Feed.

### Available Options
* **Homepage style**: Defines the layout and content displayed in the homepage.
* *Default: Featured / Feed*
* **Title:** The heading text displayed above your featured section.
* *Default: Featured Posts.*
