# Secondary Logo

The theme lets you upload a separate logo for dark mode to keep your branding visible and consistent across all color schemes.

This logo will be used in the following cases:

* As the default logo when the Dark color scheme is selected.
* Automatically, when dark mode is enabled, either manually by the visitor or based on system preferences.

### Step-by-Step:

Log in to your Ghost Admin.

Click the **"Customize"** button to open the theme editor.

Locate the **Secondary logo** option under the **Site wide** settings.

Click **"Upload logo"** and select the image to be used in dark mode.

Click **"Save"** to apply the changes.

To display the dark logo, a [Publication logo](/docs/drift/customization/logo.md) must be set. If no publication logo is uploaded, your site title will be used instead.
