Hero

This section defines the main introduction area at the top of your homepage. It allows you to welcome visitors and briefly describe what your site is about. You can customize the Image, Title, Subtitle, and Description to create a strong first impression.

Follow the steps below to access the Hero settings:

Access Ghost Admin

• Log in to your Ghost Admin at yoursite.com/ghost

Navigate to Design Settings

• Go to Settings > Site > Design & branding yoursite.com/ghost/#/settings/design

• Click the "Customize" button to open the theme editor.

Open Theme Settings

• Locate the Hero options under the Homepage section.

Available Options

• Image — The main visual element of your homepage. Default: Publication cover image.

• Title — The main heading text of your homepage. Default: Hello, welcome to [site title]

• Subtitle — The first paragraph displayed below the title. Default: Site description (from General settings > Title & description > Site description)

• Description — The second paragraph displayed below the subtitle. Default: None (optional field)

• Subscribe Form — Will be hidden if the Portal is disabled or set to invite-only.
