# Subscribe

Displays a subscribe section on the homepage to encourage visitors to join your site. You can customize the title, description, and cover image.

### Step-by-step:

Go to the "**Design & branding**" settings in Ghost Admin and click "**Customize**".

Under the **Homepage** section, locate "**Subscribe**".
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Edit the **title** and **description** as needed.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Click "**Save**" to apply the changes.

### Available Options

* **Title:** The main heading text.
  * *Default: Join the \[Site title]*
* **Description:** A short message displayed below the title.
  * *Default: Don’t miss out on the latest news. Sign up now to get access to the library of members-only posts.*
* **Image:** Uses the Publication cover image.
* **Form** - Action default for `#/portal/signup`

### Visibility rules

The Subscribe section will be hidden if the Portal is disabled, if the member is logged in, or if the "invite only" option is configured.
