# Lightbox

Allows visitors to click on images to view them in a larger overlay. This feature enhances the visual experience and works on both posts and pages. It is **enabled by default**.

### Step-by-step:

Go to the "**Design & branding**" settings in Ghost Admin and click "**Customize**".

Under the **Post** section, locate the "**Lightbox**" toggle.

Enable or disable the option and click "**Save**".

Disabling this option removes the additional HTML and JavaScript used by the lightbox, improving overall performance for users who don’t need the feature.
